Folklore expresivo is the first book by artist Cynthia Cohen, with texts by Laura Batkis, Jimena Ferreiro, María Gainza, Laura Isola, and Florencia Qualina. The book explores diverse poetic genealogies, ranging from interiorism to reflections on feminism and the body, through classic painting themes —still life, landscape, portrait, nude— revisiting them from a new perspective, all in a Pop key. Humor and irony are present in its visual repertoires.
